Sprint Wireless Coverage Map

About the Sprint Coverage Maps

Sprint® is a leading nationwide provider of cellular phone service. Though they do not have a prepaid option under that brand, there are a few brands, such as Boost® and Virgin® mobile that rely on the Sprint network to provide service to their customers.

Coverage Available from Sprint

Sprint offers voice, 3G, 4G LTE, 4G Spark, and 4G WiMax coverage[+]. Not all coverage is available in all areas. The majority of the country can be serviced via Sprint.

Coverage Maps for Sprint

  • 3G Map: 3G coverage is strong, and is available all over the country, with just a few small spots where there is no coverage available. Areas with no coverage are typically small areas with little to no population density.
  • 4G LTE Map: Many more cities have access to 4G LTE than they do Spark or WiMax. However, the majority of these cities are on the east coast and the central United States, with a higher concentration of available in Florida, the Carolinas, and Texas. Many areas out west lack this coverage, though we expect them to get it as the network continues to grow and expand.
  • Spark Map: Sprint Spark™ is an enhanced 4G LTE coverage, only available in a few cities, such as New York, Los Angeles, and Detroit, along with a few cities in southern Florida. In order to use this coverage, you must have a compatible device.
  • WiMax Map:This 4G coverage is only available in a few major cities across the country. Though this coverage is available more widely than Spark, in areas such as: Washington, California, New York, Charlotte, Texas, and some parts of Florida with a few cities in between, it is still not anywhere near nationwide coverage for everyone who has Sprint. You must have a compatible device in order to use this technology.

Important Information About Sprint Coverage Maps

Sprint coverage maps are provided for general information purposes only. Even though the map indicates coverage should be available in specific areas does not mean coverage will actually be there. Use the map to determine if coverage will be available in areas where you most often use your phone.

Two things you can use your choplelne as a modem.. installing nokia pc suite in your laptop and connecting your phone with the laptop thru cable, infrared or bluetooth..and there you go.. or use HSPDA technology.. the wireless usb dongles or pcmcia cards that are marketed nowadays.. Just buy a kit and there you have it..an instant internet connection. But it depends where you are located at. In the Philippines, the Snartbro (short for smart broadband) prepaid kit is offered. But i have the smartbro. But if you have the choplelne, I do not suggest the kit anymore because they are only at the same speed. The only advantage of the usb kit is that it relies on the power of your laptop and not on batteries so there won’t be a prob on battery draining choplelnes tend to drain there batteries faster when connected.
